Shanti Mantras are prayers for Peace. They are often recited at the beginning and at the end of religious ceremonies or rituals in Hinduism. Shanti Mantras are often found in the Upanishads, where they are recited to calm the mind of the reciter and the environment around him. They often end by reciting the word “Shanti” three times.

OM DYAUHA SHANTIRANTARIKSHA SHANTIHI
 
“ॐ   द्यौः   शान्तिरन्तरिक्षं   शान्तिः”
 
Meaning: May there be Peace in Heaven, Sky, Earth, Water, Plants, Trees; May there be Peace in All.
10. Om santih santih santih
“ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदम् पूर्णात् पूर्णमुदच्यते 
पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते 
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः”
om purnamadah purnamidam purnat purnamudacyate 
purnasya purnamadaya purnamevavasisyate 
om santih santih santih
Meaning: Om! That is infinite (Man), and this (universe) is infinite. The infinite proceeds from the infinite.(Then) taking the infinitude of the infinite (universe),It remains as the infinite (Brahman) alone. Om! Peace! Peace! Peace!
